Modern's Internship programs are ideal for top-performing undergraduate students (typically between their third and fourth year), and for master's candidates considering a sales and management consulting career and/or human resources career after graduation.
Sales & Management Training Internship
What to expect?
As a Modern Intern, your summer begins with a week of intensive training delivered by an experienced Team Leader. Similar to that received by new Account Executives, after training, work streams will vary. Interns are commonly responsible for the following:
- Client relationship management
- Talent scouting
- Assisting with the on boarding process of new management trainees
In this role, you are exposed to a variety of business aspects and quickly learn the fundamentals of MM's core tools.
What comes next?
At the end of the summer, Interns who have met performance expectations will receive an offer to return full-time once they have graduated from college or university.
Human Resources Internship
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department. The internship will run through either the academic semester or summer. It is an unpaid internship so it must be taken for college credit. (Pending Approval)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists talent evaluation and recruitment needs for the expansion of the company
- Assists in developing and promoting the Modern Marketing culture externally and internally
- Assists with projects related to new employee paperwork, retention, and recruiting
- Assist with executing various Human Resources initiatives and procedures
Qualifications/Education Required:
- Candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Business Administration or Human Resources degree and must be able to earn credit for their work
- Candidates must have a genuine interest in people and be excited to work in an upbeat environment
- Qualified candidates must have strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Candidates must also have excellent computer skills, including some proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
- Candidates are expected to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week (15 to 20 hours per week)
- Candidates should be capable of working extended hours such as nights and weekends, when necessary
